This Privacy Policy explains how Lionmain Stories (ABN 83 734 221 361) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our website and application at www.lionmainstories.com (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). • 2.1 Account information: name, email address, password (stored encrypted via Google Firebase).
• 2.2 Usage data: credit balance, story count, account timestamps, free credit eligibility signals.
• 2.3 Photographs: transmitted securely to Google AI for story generation only — not stored by us after generation is complete.
• 2.4 Saved story content: story title, prompt, AI-generated text and images (compressed), timestamps — stored privately in your account.
• 2.5 Payment information: processed by Stripe — we do not collect or store card details. We receive only confirmation of payment and credits purchased.
• 2.6 Analytics data: Google Analytics 4 collects aggregate usage data (pages visited, time on site, general location, device type) not linked to your name or email.

To create and manage your account; process photographs through Google AI to generate story content; display and manage saved stories; manage credits and process purchases; limit misuse of free credit offers; send transactional emails; improve the Service; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising and do not sell personal information to third parties.

Your data may be transferred to and stored outside Australia, including in the United States, via Google Firebase, Stripe, and Google AI. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Account information is retained until you request deletion. Saved stories are retained until deleted by you or upon account deletion request. Original photographs are not retained after story generation. Payment records may be retained as required by law. To request account deletion, contact hello@lionmainstories.com.

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure cloud storage via Google Firebase with access controls, and authentication-based access so only you can access your account data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or object to certain uses. Contact hello@lionmainstories.com. You may also delete individual stories directly within the Service at any time.

Accounts must be created by individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Where photographs of children are uploaded, the account holder is responsible for ensuring appropriate consents have been obtained.

The Service uses cookies to maintain your session and support functionality. Google Analytics also uses cookies to collect usage data. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. The updated policy will be posted at www.lionmainstories.com/privacy.
