Terms of Service

By accessing or using Lionmain Stories (the "Service") at www.lionmainstories.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Lionmain Stories is operated by a sole trader with ABN 83 734 221 361. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the operator of Lionmain Stories.

Lionmain Stories is a web-based application that enables users to create personalised, visual social stories for children and individuals with neurodivergence, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Users upload photographs which are processed by Google AI to generate illustrated story content.

The Service includes:

• account creation and management;
• photograph upload for AI-assisted story generation;
• generation of personalised social story content and images;
• optional saving and retrieval of completed stories;
• purchase of story generation credits via Stripe.

The Service is intended for use by adults on behalf of children or individuals with neurodivergence.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm you are 18 or older and have legal authority to upload any photographs you submit, including photographs featuring children or other individuals.

To access full features you must create an account with accurate, current information. You agree to maintain the security of your credentials, notify us at hello@lionmainstories.com of any unauthorised access, and take responsibility for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.

To delete your account and all associated data, contact hello@lionmainstories.com. Unused credits are non-refundable upon account deletion. You may delete individual saved stories at any time from within the Service.

• 6.1 Credit system: Story generation operates on a credit-based system. Each story generation consumes one (1) credit. Credits can be purchased in the following packages (all prices in Australian Dollars): 1 Credit — AUD $2.99; 3 Credits — AUD $4.99. Eligible new users may receive one free story credit under the Getting Started offer, intended for genuine new users only. We may refuse or limit free credits where misuse is suspected. Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active.
• 6.2 Payment processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details. Credits are added upon successful payment confirmation. If credits are not received after payment, contact hello@lionmainstories.com.
• 6.3 Refund policy: Credit purchases are generally non-refundable for change of mind, unused credits, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction with AI-generated output. If a technical issue prevents credits from being applied, we may provide replacement credits. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

• 7.1 Photograph upload: Photographs are transmitted securely to Google AI solely to generate story content. Your original photographs are not stored by us after processing. By uploading photographs you confirm you own them or have legal right and consent to use them, including consent to process images of any individuals depicted using AI tools.
• 7.2 Saved story content: AI-generated story text and images (not your original photographs) are stored securely in your account. You retain ownership of saved story content. By saving content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

Story content and images are produced by Google AI. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, suitability, or appropriateness of AI-generated content for any specific individual or purpose. AI-generated content should be reviewed by a responsible adult before use with a child. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or educational advice.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• upload photographs without rights or consent;
• generate content that is offensive, harmful, discriminatory, or illegal;
• reverse engineer or copy the Service;
• use automated tools to scrape or access the Service;
• attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Service;
• create, upload, or use content that exploits, sexualises, harms, or endangers children.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations, remove content, preserve records, or report concerns to appropriate authorities.

All content, design, branding, and technology forming part of the Service — excluding your saved story content — is the property of Lionmain Stories or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with Google Firebase (authentication and storage), Stripe (payment processing), Google AI (story and image generation), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). Your use is also subject to each provider's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we discontinue the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to give users notice and allow a reasonable period to use remaining paid credits where practical.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of AI-generated content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for credits in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at www.lionmainstories.com/privacy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined there.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Victoria, Australia.
